H. Heronimus
Rites Tuesday
Word was received here this week of the death of Harold Heronimus which occurred April 27 in the Victory Memorial Hospital in Waukeegan, Ill., where he had been a patient since April 13. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon of this week in the Marsh Funeral Home in Waukeegan.
Mr. & Mrs. Heronimus had been owners of Hamilton’s Café on Frontier Street here since April 1, 1960. They came to Wickenburg for Mr Heronimus’ health and he seemed to be improving but complications developed and on April 13 he flew by jet plane back to his old home, Waukeegan. He entered the hospital there the same day. Mrs Heronimus and son Teddy drove back to Waukeegan later.
Mr Heronimus was a native of Illinois. He is survived by the widow, Ellen, son Teddy and daughter Mrs. Linda Doty of Lake Villa, Ill., also three brothers living in Illinois.
Mr Heronimus was widely known to many Wickenburg residents and winter visitors through his operation of Hamilton’s Café here where the celebrated Coffee Club held morning sessions. Members of the club now are making up a Coffee Club Remembrance Fund for Mrs. Heronimus. Those members residing out of town who may wish to contribute should send their contributions to Gerry Sams, Box 116, Wickenburg.
