The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, November 05, 2011 Felix Pareja, 68, was called to his eternal reward at 9:50 p.m. Thursday Nov. 3, at Marley Hospice House with his family by his side. He was born on Dec. 9, 1942, in Oakland, Calif., to Ben and Minnie. Felix was raised in the Verde Valley, Ariz., spent 10 years in Holbrook, Ariz., and then moved to Prescott, Ariz., in 1979. He made a career in the lumber industry and influenced the path of many along the way. Felix was a loving and caring family man. His family was his first love, with sports being a close second. Felix is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Barbara; sons Michael (Mary) and Felix (Brandi), all of Prescott; daughter Nikki of Phoenix; six grandsons, Ben, Jonnie, Josh, Mike, Isaac and Jacob; granddaughters Jessica and Cassie; great-granddaughter Selena; brother Benjamin and sister Sally Sterrett, both of Camp Verde; sister Doris of Eureka, Calif.; and numerous extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his beloved father and mother and brother, Michael. A visitation and rosary will be at Hampton Funeral Home, 240 S. Cortez St., Prescott, on Nov. 10 from 5 to 7 p.m. A celebration of Felix's life will take place on Nov. 11 at Sacred Heart Church on Flurry Street at 11 a.m. Hampton Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
