AITCHISON, Lawrence Foster

The Prescott Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, January 4, 2007 Lawrence Foster Aitchison, 89, of Prescott, passed away peacefully at his Las Fuentes home on Dec. 22, 2006. He was born in Chicago, Ill., but after his father died, Lawrence and his mother moved to Scotland to be with family. As a young man, he returned to the United States, where he met and wed Leona Bogdansky. They were married for almost 65 years. He is survived by his wife, Leona; son, Stewart; daughter-in-law, Ann; and granddaughter, Kate. Lawrence was a quiet, private man who enjoyed woodworking and tinkering with mechanical devices. He loved airplanes and flying and introduced his son to hiking in the Grand Canyon. A memorial service will be held at the Grand Canyon later in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice. Information provided by survivors.
