George C. Hoffman, 94, of Broadhead, Wis., born Feb. 20, 1912, in Athens, Wis., died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006, in Broadhead, Wis.
Graveside services in honor of George will take place at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 5, at Mountain View Cemetery in Prescott with Father Rich Wozniak officiating.

George C. Hoffman, age 94, of Monroe, Wis. (formerly of Phoenix, Prescott, and Cordes Lakes, Ariz.), passed away in Brodhead, Wis., Dec. 28, 2006. He was born Feb. 20, 1912, in Marathon County, Wis., the son of Emil and Agnes Soucek Hoffman.
He is survived by five children, George (Sandy) Hoffman of Sycamore, Ill.; Edward (Loretta) Hoffman of Prescott, Ariz.; Grace (Gary) Hoffman and Carol Hoffman (Ken Gruenburg)- of Monroe, Wis.; and Nancy (Ed) Williams of Redmond, Ore; one step-daughter, Betty (Robert) Dreste of Phoenix, Ariz.; one stepson, Edward (Sonja) Salrin of Texas; brother, Sylvester "Bud" Hoffman of Ontonagon, Mi.; sisters Delores Schinke of Slinger, Wis.; Eleanor Moug of Chicago, 111.; 20 grandchildren, 34 great grandchilden, and 24 great-great grandchildren; and two step grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wives Edna Schoppenhorst who he married in 1935, and Edna Salrin, who he married in 1986; two sons, brothers and four sisters.
George was a carpenter, farmer and rancher. He proudly served in the Civilian Conservation Corps, "CCC," in the 1930s. He was employed by Long Meadow Ranch of Prescott for many years.
Services were held at Shriner Hager Gohike Funeral Home in Monroe, Wisconsin Jan. 30, 2006.
Graveside Services will be held at Mountain View Cemetery, Prescott, Ariz. on Friday, Jan. 5, 2007 at 2 p.m.
