Ernest
Ernest Hoehn died November 20, 2002. He was born in Minnesota and arrived in Phoenix in 1924.
He married the love of his life, Dovie Strope on November 20, 1943.
Ernie was a horseman; roped and broke wild horses in what became Paradise Valley, rodeoed, owned and bred racehorses and was a horseshoer, known and respected by horsemen throughout the valley for more than 60 years.
Ernest is survived by his loving wife Dovie, son Keith E., daughter Rhonda McDowell (Keith L.) granddaughters Erin McDowell, Rebecca Hoehn, Haley Thomas (Jesse), Kyra McDowell, great-grand daughter Chaeli Hoehn and his dog Buster.
Services were at Serenity Chapel, Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery on Tuesday, Nov. 26th. Menke Funeral Home handled arrangements.
