SWOL, John Edmund

John E. Swol, 55, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away Wednesday evening, November 20, 2002. He was born in Rochester, New York. He is survived by his loving family: wife Lee Cunningham-Swol; his children, daughters, Elle and Lauren, his son John (JT). He is also survived by his parents, Edmund and Gabrielle Swol, his sisters, Jacqueline Hyatt, Michelle Swol-Hartman, and Janet Swol, his brother-in-law, John Hartman, his sister-in-law, Lucy Cunningham, his father-in-law, John Cunningham. A graduate of St. Bonaventure University, John went on to have a successful accounting business. He was a Vietnam Veteran. He was also an avid Diamondback fan. Thank you to the Diamondbacks for giving him hours of enjoyment during his three-year illness. Visitation and services were at Hansen's Chapel, 8314 N. 7th Street. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Sage Foundation c/o the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine or the American Cancer Society or to the American Cancer Society.
