YOUNG, Robert (Bobby) Leon

Robert "Bobby" Leon Young, Sr. Bobby passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2002 at the age of 75 after a short battle with cancer. 

He was born on July 12, 1927 in Beaumont, Texas to Mary Williams. 

He graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 1945 and went on to serve our country in the United States Army until being honorably discharged in 1947. 

Bobby was a long time Arizona resident, living in Tucson, Phoenix, and most recently in Prescott, working for the Veteran's Administration there. 

He is survived by daughters Stephanie and Annette, one son Robert Jr., four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, all from Phoenix, AZ. 

Bobby will be missed for his outgoing personality, generosity, warm smile, charm and good looks. 

Memorial services were held at House of Rhema Full Gospel Church, 2802 E. South Mountain Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85042.
