BARRAZA, Gertrude M.

Gertrude M. Barraza, 83, of Glendale, Arizona, died quietly the evening of January 18, 2004 at home with her children and grandchildren by her side. "Gertie" was a wonderful and loving mother and grandmother, who was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. She is survived by children Paul M. Calderon Sr., (Toni), Maria Gomez (Rudy) and Patricia Navarro (Paul). Grandchildren Suzanne Armijo (Jose), Paul M. Calderon Jr., (Sabrina), Katherine Martinez, Rudy Gomez Jr., (Lynn), Jessica J. Calderon, Korine Gomez, Felicia Navarro, Raina Gomez, and Consilia Navarro, 14 great grandchildren and 2 great, great-grandchildren. Visitation was held with Rosary at Whitney & Murphy Arcadia Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix, AZ. Mass was held at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 909 South 1st Avenue, Phoenix, AZ. Interment at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6290 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale, AZ. Published in the Arizona Republic on 1/21/2004.
