Diana Leggett Biaett was born in New York City on April 3, 1930. She spent her younger years in Nutley and Lake Arrowhead, NJ and Albuquerque, NM before moving to Phoenix in 1943. She graduated from North Phoenix High School in 1947. She attended Arizona State College at Tempe and Gregg Business College in Phoenix from 1947 to 1949. She married Lt. Vernon Biaett in the First Presbyterian Church in Phoenix in 1949. Diana worked as an Air Force Family Service Volunteer in Lincoln, NE and Tokyo, Japan. After moving to Sun City, AZ in 1983, she was a Realtor with Red Carpet and West Area Realty. She is survived by her husband Vern of Sun City, son Vern, Jr. of Glendale, AZ, daughter Marta (Vicki) Nielson of East Alstead, NH and sister Sylvia Sadler of Sun City and 5 grandchildren. A memorial reception was held at the Menke Funeral Home Reception Room, 10307 W. Coggins Dr., Sun City, AZ. Published in the Arizona Republic on 1/21/2004.
