Rites Set Tuesday For Wm. C. Hanson
Funeral services will be held in the Hunter mortuary at 2 o’clock tomorrow afternoon for William Conrad Hanson, 80, who died Friday night at the Pioneer’s Home, where he had been a guest since Sept. 28, 1936. The Rev. Charles Franklin Parker will officiate at the services which will be followed by burial in the Pioneers’ cemetery.
Mr. Hanson, who was born in Virginia City, Nev., Nov. 19, 1867, came to Fort Whipple from Yuma in 1879. He was a miner by occupation.
He is survived by five daughters and three sons: Joe Hanson, Mrs. Charles Belcher and Mrs. Warren Patterson of Prescott; Mrs. Emery Preston, of Le Grand, Calif.; Charles H. Hanson and Mrs. Mabel Sherman, of Fresno; W. C. Hanson, Jr., of Emeryville, Calif.; Mrs. J. H. Smith, of Winslow. There are 19 grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
