Kathryn Elaine Vohs, age 62, of Prescott, passed away July 25, 2006 at Yavapai Regional Medical Center. Kathryn was born April 23, 1944, in Pennsylvania to Robert and Mable (James) David.
She is survived by her husband Louis, of Prescott; children Tansy, Bill and Steven; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three brothers and one sister.
She loved people and she loved life. She always had a smile and a hug for her friends. Kathy inspired many young bowlers in the YABA. She was the dedicated instructor who introduced children to bowling.
Kathy also took the kids to tournaments throughout the state. She ran the Junior Bowling League for many years and was very active in Bowling for Kids Sake. She was a five-time Arizona State Archery Champion and was a member of Prescott Frontier Days Rodeo for 20 years.
She was also an avid softball player for the Prescott Nuggets and won many state championships.
Kathy worked for the Yavapai County Recorders Office as a micrographics technician for 22 years.
A memorial service will take place at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 28, at the Bradshaw Mountain Christian Assembly Church, 10100 E. Highway 69, Prescott Valley.

The Hampton Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
