Reita Mae Hopkins, 78, of Mesa, AZ, entered into rest on January 18, 2004. She was born May 27, 1925 in Brodhead, Kentucky to William and Mildred (Smith) Sowder. Reita, a loving wife and mother, moved to Arizona in 1964 and is a member of Brown Road Baptist Church of Mesa, AZ. She is survived by her husband Ken Hopkins, three sons, Terry Owen of Phoenix, Ron and Tim Owen of Mesa and their wives and numerous grandchildren. Funeral Services were at Valley of the Sun Mortuary, 10940 E. Chandler Hgts Rd., Chandler, AZ. Published in the Arizona Republic on 1/21/2004.
