Dennis Jacoby Dies Saturday
Dennis Jacoby, well known Arizona pioneer and a resident of Prescott
for over 40 years, died Saturday at the Pioneers’ home. He was 90
years old.
Born May 2, 1860, in Burlington, Ia., he made the trek west in 1889,
taking up residence in Jerome.
A carpenter for many years, he worked at Chloride, Swanson and other
Arizona towns before coming to Prescott.
Mrs. Jacoby preceded him in death Dec. 29, 1948.
The pioneer leaves two sons, Edwin N. of San Jose, Calif., and
Donald L. of Oroville, Calif.; two grandchildren; a step-son, Oscar
Moffit of Hollywood, Calif., and three step-grandchildren.
Funeral services have been set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Ruffner
Funeral home.

Jacoby Funeral Early Wednesday
Funeral services for Dennis Jacoby, well known Arizona pioneer who
died Saturday at the Pioneers’ home, will be held Wednesday at 10
a.m. at the Ruffner Funeral home with the Rev. Charles Franklin
Parker officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
