MYERS, Richard L.

Richard L. Myers, of Scottsdale, AZ, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Jan. 16, 2004, his 70th birthday. He will be greatly missed by his wife Sharon, of 43 yrs, daughters Tamara (Chuck) Bailey of Longmont, CO, Michelle (Rich) Lange of Scottsdale, AZ & Cheryl (Mark) Morton of Peoria, AZ, 2 brothers, Neil & Jerry Myers, of Decatur, IL, and 6 grandchildren Tarah and Brianne Bailey; Connor & Parker Lange; Tyler and Tatum Morton. Richard was born in Blue Mound, IL & grew up in Decatur, IL. He graduated from Purdue Univ. in 1955 with a degree in Pharmacy. He served in the US Army for 2 yrs. Richard owned Harding Pharmacy stores in Danville, IL and moved to Scottsdale in 1989 & was recently employed by Walgreens Healthcare Plus. Richard enjoyed spending time with his family & watching his grandchildren's activities. He loved life & touched many hearts with his kind, caring ways & optimistic attitude. Memorial services were at Shepherd of the Desert Lutheran Church, 9590 E. Shea Blvd., Scottsdale. Contributions may be made to the Amer. Heart Assoc. & Shepherd of the Desert Lutheran Church.
