PEAL, Jimmie Ferrol


Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Tuesday, November 8, 2011 - Jimmie Ferrol Peal, 80, passed away Oct. 28, 2011 at Lakeview Terrace. He was born Sept. 12, 1931, in Grain Valley, Mo., to Ronnie and Mabel Peal. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force for four years during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the American Legion and the Masonic Lodge. Jimmie drove a concrete truck and owned his own concrete plant with a co-worker as well as operated a trucking business with a partner. He married his wife, Yvonne Peal, in Kansas City, Mo., April 20, 1972. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and would talk about the many hours of fun he had on the lake with his friend and neighbor, Franky. Jimmie enjoyed watching the Diamondbacks baseball team as well as the Suns basketball team. His dry sense of humor will be missed. Jimmie is survived by his wife of nearly 40 years, Yvonne Peal, of Lake Havasu City; stepson, Don (Fern) Bittenbender; brother, Clifford Peal; sisters, Evelyn Coolidge and Nancy Coleman; step-grandsons, Mark Bittenbender and Don Nichols as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronnie and Mabel Peal. A memorial service will be at Lake Havasu Mortuary Chapel on Saturday, at 2 p.m., with full military honors presented by the VFW and American Legion Honor Guard.
