Gerry Easley, born Aug. 31, 1940, passed away Nov. 1, 2011 at home. Gerry is survived by his sons, Matt (Ann-Marie), and Jimmy (Kim); and grandchildren, Paige, Tyler, Taylor and Tanner, all of whom were his greatest pride and joy in life. He looked forward to every visit.
Gerry’s great passions as a younger man were off-roading, boating, water skiing, trips to Baja, Mexico, and hanging out on the River with his family and friends. As he got older, he enjoyed NASCAR and hanging out with his friends at Cha-Bones and Quality Inn most afternoons and Sunday mornings.
Gerry worked most of his life as a journeyman carpenter and as he approached retirement age, he worked for Riverland Chevron where he met many of his new friends.
Gerry was a quiet, gentle, kind and honorable man with a very big heart. It was easy to be Gerry’s friend. Our entire family thought of him as a part of our family.
Gerry has now joined his beloved parents, Harold and Edith; good friends and his Labradors that passed before him. It is a great comfort that he is now with our Lord.
So it is goodbye for now, we will miss you and think of you often till we meet again.
Gerry’s wishes were no services. He would be pleased if anyone would like to donate to New Hope Hospice of Lake Havasu that was so crucial in helping with his care.
