Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Thursday, November 10, 2011 - Henderson “Clay” Brumfield, 74, aka The Channel Master, passed away peacefully in Lake Havasu City with his wife by his side Nov. 3, 2011. He was born in Huntington, W.Va., May 22, 1937. Clay loved boating and meeting all his friends in the Channel! His loving memory will live on in our hearts here in Lake Havasu City forever. He retired from Honeywell after 40 year of service in 1998. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henderson George and Pauline Faye Brumfield. Clay is survived by his loving wife, Lora Brumfield; brother, Lloyd David Brumfield; son, Kevin Brumfield; stepdaughter, Kathlyn Redlawsk; two stepsons, David Hummer and Brian Hummer; and eight grandchildren, Michael, Brittany, Joshua, Nicole, Nathan, David, Elizabeth and Jordan.
