The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, January 3, 2007 Marjorie Virginia Olds Millis Born Oct. 27, 1922, she died Dec. 27, 2006. Margie was an incredible woman, daughter, mother, sister, wife and friend, loved by all who knew her. Margie was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Maymie and John Olds. She married her great love, Scott Millis Jr., in 1940 and moved in 1950 to Aurora, Colo., where she lived until 2000, when she moved to be near her daughter in Prescott, Ariz. Margie enjoyed life every single day. She learned to tie flies for fishing with Scott. She sewed her costumes and her daughter's clothes and did many wonderful crafts. Widowed at 60, her positive attitude paved the way for a new life. She won gold medals in the Senior Olympics in basketball and the long jump, and joined "Seniors 88" dancing and singing in productions all over Aurora and Denver. She volunteered teaching adults to read. Everything she did was magic. Survived by her daughters, Peggy Chamberlain (Bob) of San Diego, Calif., Nancy McCann (John) of Novato, Calif., and Sally Anderson (Tim) of Prescott, Ariz.; her brother John Olds (I»at); and grandchildren Jeni, Lisa, Scott, Seain and Christine.
