The Daily Miner, Kingman, AZ - Published on November 2, 2011 - Bill B. Pollard, 82, a resident of Kingman since 1991, died on Friday, Oct. 14, 2011, in Peoria. Bill was stationed at Fort Huachuca while in the Army. He retired from the Phoenix Police Department in 1976 and from Mobile Home Communities in 1991. He was born in Laverne, Okla., on June 11, 1929. Survivors include his daughter, Linda Veen; grandchildren, Gina Guzzetta and her husband Ryan, Nicholas Semenza, Justin Veen and Jannie Veen; and great-grandson, Rocco. His wife, JoeAnn; and son, Billy, preceded him in death. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary, 719 North 27th Ave., Phoenix. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill's name may be made to the FOP Lodge No. 2, 12851 N. 19th Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85029, or the TAPS Program, 1102 W. Adams, Phoenix, AZ 85007.
