Marie Zampol, born Sept. 16, 1919, in New York City, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011, leaving two sons, Robert and Louis.

Marie retired here in Kingman in 1979 with her husband, Jerry, who died in October 1980. They had been married 45 years.

Marie participated in the establishment of the VFW Post 10386 chapter in Kingman and served as its treasurer for two years. She also belonged to the Women of the Moose Chapter 1594 and the Eagles, and made many beautiful friends. Her home was always open for fun and good times. Marie will now join Jerry, her precious husband, in a private graveside service.
