Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from November 6 to November 13, 2011 - Ronald "Ron" Lee Denny, age 56, who recently relocated to Topock from San Bernardino, Calif., suddenly passed away from an apparent heart attack on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011, in Topock, Ariz. Ron was born on October 2, 1955, to Paul R. and Jo Ann Denny, (now JoAnn Ellison), in San Bernardino, Calif. He enlisted in the Army at age 17 and after being honorably discharged, worked as a chef for many years before forming his own carpentry business in California. He moved to Topock a little over a year ago to be near family, and because of declining health. He was an avid musician and enjoyed playing the guitar and harmonica. Ron is remembered fondly by many friends. Family members especially remember his heartfelt version of "Danny Boy." He was preceded in death by his father, Paul R. Denny. Ron is survived by his wife of 25 years, Nina L. Denny; two daughters, Christina Garner andCandida Baker; five siblings, Kathleen Honsinger, Penny Swan, Tammy Walsh, Tom Clements, and Lisa Calbick; aunt, Ruth Sands; 10 grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
