Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from November 6 to November 13, 2011 - Loren E. Tucker, age 87, a 22-year resident of Mohave Valley, passed away after a battle with cancer on November 2, 2011, in Mohave Valley, Ariz., with his family by his side. He was born June 20, 1924, in Kansas. Loren proudly served two tours of duty in the U.S. Army, and worked many years designing and building military helicopters. He enjoyed time with his golf buddies until his health started to fail. Loren was a good and kind man who will be missed by his family, many friends, and neighbors. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, two sisters, and his son, Michael. Loren is survived by his wife of 46 years, Joan Tucker of Mohave Valley; grandson, Bryan (Erin) and two great-grandchildren, Brendan and Corrin of St. Louis, Mo.; two sisters, Deloris Hadall of Iowa, and Nellie (Jack) Robinson of Kansas; brother, Wayne (Sally) of Texas; and many nieces and nephews. There will be a graveside service at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 10, 2011, at Desert Lawn Funeral Home Crematory & Memorial Gardens, 9250 S. Ranchero Lane, Mohave Valley, Ariz.
