DRECKMAN, Henry Elmer (Hank)


Henry Elmer "Hank" Dreckman died at Lincoln Hospital on December 3, 2003. He would have been seventy on New Years Eve. Born in Elgin, Illinois, his mother, Roma, brought him to the Valley for his health. He recovered and went on to work as a life guard, rodeo rider, Grand Canyon construction worker, and a miner in the West states and Africa. He returned to Phoenix and ran a cab fleet. Hank was pre-deceased by his wife Nancy, an infant daughter, and his sister Edith Ann (Conly) Wilson. His son, Keith, was adopted and lives out of the state. His relatives appreciate the support of his Phoenix friends, especially in his last days. The friends plan to gather at Bullock's on Bethany Home January 24, 2004, to celebrate his life.
