LANESE, Edward

Edward Lanese, beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away January 20, 2004 after a long and courageous battle with non-hodgkins lymphoma. Edward moved to Arizona in January of 1978 and was employed for 22 years at The Arizona Republic. He was a wonderful father, husband and grandfather. His three daughters and two granddaughters were the light of his life. He was so proud of them. Edward loved Arizona and golfing with his buddies. He is survived by his wife of 38 years Janice Lanese daughters Tracey Lanese, Heather (Jesse) Haro. Ted (Kim) Cioto. granddaughters Liana Hare and Gabrielle Cioto, father Edward Lanese, brothers Jeff (Connie) and Craig (Barbara) Lanese, sisters Mary Jo (Sam) Laurie, Jill (Angelo) Ross, sister-in-law Phyllis Shuttleworth and many dear nieces and nephews. Edward will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at City of Hope, Bone Marrow Unit for taking such good care of him. He loved you all.
