ROGERS, George E.

George E. Rogers, 77, was born in Yelm, WA.  He was a resident of Phoenix for 56 years and passed away January 21, 2004. 

George worked as a bookkeeper at AZ Box Co., and Deer Valley Rd. Lumber. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #29 and American Legion Post #29. 

George is survived by his wife of 53 years, Doris, daughters Laura (Chip) Lewis, Linda (Paul) Matthew, grandchildren Matt and Susie Lewis, Geoffrey and Angela Matthew, brother Andy (Dottie) Rogers and devoted and loving dog, Molly. We are all going to miss him very much. 

Visitation was at Greenwood Memory Lawn Chapel, 719 N. 27th Ave. Funeral services Saturday, January 24, 2004, at Greenwood Memory Lawn "Serenity" Chapel, 719 N. 27th Ave.
