Georgia Mildred Aiken (Nana), 92, left to be with the Lord on January 20, 2004.
She was born in Paducah, Texas on August 04, 1911.
She moved to Phoenix in 1927 where she met and married the love of her life, L.H. Dutch Aiken. They shared 47 wonderful years together before he passed away on August 26, 1977.
Mildred & Dutch spent many years working with the college age with Truth for Youth and at their church West High Baptist in Phoenix.
She is survived by her daughter; Lois (Leland) Barlow. 3 Grandchildren; Susan (Tom) Reynolds, Sherie (Gary) Nelson, and Steve (Natasha) Barlow. 7 Great Grandchildren; Leland, Kristina, Nicole, Heide, Andrew, Cammie and Krystal. 9 Great Great Grandchildren; Blake, McKenzie, Heather, Gary, Hunter, Casey, Samantha, Seth and Christian. She is also survived by one brother, Jesse Gray of Albuquerque, numerous nephews, nieces, and lots of dear close friends.
She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
Her service was held at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 719 N. 27th Ave. on Monday, January 26, 2004. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery.
