James A. Pulling, 91, resident of Deming, N.M., passed away Monday, July 10, 2006, at Mt. View Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
James was born December 7, 1914, in Chateaugay, New York to Edward and Mary Elizabeth Eavens Pulling.
He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force for over 26 years. Senior Master Sergeant Pulling retired on March 1, 1970. He has been a resident of Deming, N.M. for 10 years having previously lived in Prescott, Arizona for approximately 30 years.
In Prescott, James was active with the Sacred Heart Catholic Church where he was an eucharistic minister and usher and was also active with the Knights of Columbus. Locally he was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia A. Pulling of Deming, N.M.; two stepsons, Daniel Vadnais of Phoenix, Ariz., and Charles Vadnais of Prescott, Ariz.; two step-daughters, Mary Vadnais of Tempe, Ariz., and Marie Vadnais of Prescott, Ariz.; one sister, Lois Music of Callahan, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.
James was preceded in death by two sisters, Geraldine Tanneberger and Edith Flynn, and by two brothers, Ronald and William Pulling.
