Arrangements by Sunrise Funeral Home. -------------------- The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, July 6, 2006 Donna Shaw Wight, 68, died June 24, 2006, at Yavapai Regional Medical Center, Prescott. She was born July 5, 1937, in Menomonie, Wisconsin, to Joel M. Shaw and Alpha Caroline (Gunderson) Shaw. Donna was married for 43 years to Charles R. Wight of Prescott Valley. She is survived by her husband; son, Eric C. Wight of Prescott; sister, Deloris L Oberg; brothers, Joel D. Shaw of St. Paul, Minnesota, and Gerald R. Shaw of Clearwater, Florida; nephews Roger Oberg and Michael Shaw; and niece, Danielle Shaw. Donna graduated from Mondovi (Wisconsin) High School and was a member of the Lutheran church. Despite severe blindness in later years, she maintained. her passion for conservative citizenship and political efforts. She was devoted to homemaking skills, especially cooking and baking. Donna was a loving mother, a faithful and supportive wife and partner and a thoughtful and caring citizen. A private commemoration service is planned. Arrangements were provided by Sunrise Funeral Home.
