THACKER, Robbie Mae

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, October 11, 2006 Robbie Mae Thacker, 76 years old of Prescott, joined our Heavenly Father on Oct. 9, 2006. Robbie was born to Herman and Lottie Mae (Feaster) Day on March 6, 1930, in Spur, Texas. Robbie was residing at the Arizona Pioneers' Home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd Mont Thacker, on Oct. 5, 2006. Robbie moved to Prescott from Carlsbad, N.M., in 1963, where she raised her family as a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Robbie is survived by three children: Sherry Valdez of Prescott, Loyd Thacker II of Prescott Valley, and Jackie Hewitt of Thatcher, Ariz.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and five sisters: Donnie Mosser of Chino Valley, Charlene Herrin of Breckenridge, Texas, Carolann Wilhelm of Kermit, Texas, Glendola Carroll of Wink, Texas, and Renee Bounds of Breckenridge, Texas. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, Oct. 13, at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Robbie will be laid to rest at the Arizona Pioneers' Home Cemetery with her husband, Loyd.
