SEMENOICK, Michael N.


Michael N. Semenoick, 83, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2004. He was born in Newark, New Jersey and later lived in New York and Calif. Michael was with the 82nd Airborne Division as a paratrooper and the 45th Infantry Signal Corpsman during WW-II and saw extensive action in North Africa, Anzio, France and Germany. He was one of America's true hero's. He received two Silver Stars, three Purple Hearts, the Bronze Star and the French Croix de Guerre. In civilian life Michael worked as a translator for the United Nations in New York City and as a Logistics Supervisor for FMC for 21 years in Los Gatos, Calif. He is predeceased in death by his loving wife, Helena L. Semenoick. He is survived by sisters, Ann Parsons of La Mesa, Calif. and Manya Johnson of Las Vegas, NV. Visitation and funeral services were both at Sunland Memorial Park and Mortuary, 15826 Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ. Burial with military honors followed in the Garden of Valor.
