Ethel Miller Shaner, age 93, passed away January 21, 2004 in Scottsdale, AZ. She was born in New York City and moved to the Valley 21 years ago from Denver, CO. Survivors include her daughters Phyllis Kotin and Myrna (Tom) Burdick, grandchildren Michael (Nina) Kotin, David Kotin, Kathy Kotin, Karanne Burdick and Drew Burdick, great-grandchildren Jaime, Matthew, Lindsay and Justin Kotin. She was preceded in death by her late husband of 42 years Jack Shaner. Funeral services and interment were held in Denver, CO on Sunday, January 25th. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory are suggested to Hospice of Arizona, 2222 W. Northern Avenue, #A-100, Phoenix, AZ 85021 or charity of choice. Arrangements by Sinai Mortuary.
