STEIN, Norma C.

Norma C. (Niemann) Stein, August 25, 1936-January 22, 2004. Services were held Tuesday, January 27, 2004 at First Baptist Church of Sun Lakes, 9535 E. Riggs Rd., Sun Lakes, AZ. Norma Stein was born in St. Cloud, Minnesota, to Lewis A. and Florence A. (Wacker) Niemann. Norma married Donald E. Stein on September 18, 1960, in St. Cloud, MN. In the late 1950s and early 1960s, Norma taught kindergarten at Johnsville Elementary in the Anoka-Hennepin ISD 11. Residents of Coon Rapids, MN since 1961, Norma & Don Stein began wintering in Sun Lakes, AZ in 1993 and in recent years split their time between the two states as residents of Arizona. Survivors include Husband Donald, Daughter Paula J. of Brooklyn Park, MN, and two sons, David L. (Jenny) of Green Bay, WI, and Daniel E. of San Antonio, TX. Also, four grandchildren, Kate, Peter, Evelyn, and Claire of Green Bay, WI, along with mother-in-law Mrs. David F. (Zelda Jane Petty) Stein at Cokato, MN. Brother-in-law Dale Stein and Audrey of Tucson, AZ. In addition, niece and nephews: Christopher Pickett, John Pickett, and Pamela Stein all of Tucson, AZ and Derek Stein of Kalamazoo, MI. Norma was preceded in death by parents Lewis & Florence Niemann and her only sister Glenis (Niemann) Pickett. In lieu of flowers Memorials may be directed to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, St. Cloud State University Foundation (Stein Family Scholar-ships), Coon Rapids Evangelical Free Church, First Baptist Church of Sun Lakes, AZ., Hospice of the Valley or charity of donor's choice.
