The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, July 30, 2006 Frances "June" Patterson, affectionately known as "Mamie" by her family, suddenly passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2006. She was born on Jan. 28, 1940, in Maxwell, Neb. She called Prescott Valley her home for the last 11 years. She is survived by her loving husband, Bill "Papa" Patterson; her daughter Susan Gorney and husband Tommy; her son Matthew Harbin and wife Eileen; and her eight grandchildren, who adore her: Sarah, Katy, Meghan, Nathan, Thomas, Kristen, Kelsey and Zachary. She is also survived by sister Judy McLaughlin and brother Jack Cadwell, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. June worked for Pacific Bell phone company for 31 years. At the time of her death, she was employed at Asphalt Paving and Supply in Prescott Valley. Her favorite things were her church work, baseball, travel, and crossword puzzles. But most of all she loved her "Papa," kids, grandkids, and friends. Services will take place at 11 a.m. Monday, July 31, at her church, Landmark Missionary Baptist Church.
