The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, December 31, 2006 SGM (Ret.) James (Jim) Trantham passed away on Dec. 24, 2006 , at the age of 61. He is survived by his wife, Catherine; five children, Anita Kinney, LTQ, Michael Oliver, Stuart Oliver, Glorianna Premo, PFC Eion Trantham, and their spouses. He is also survived by his mother, Marian Barker; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and three estranged children, Caroline, Tom and James Jr. Mr. Trantham was a retired Sergeant Major, having served 30 years in the Army He has been employed for the last four years as a Surveillance Officer with Yavapai County Adult Probation. The family requests, in lieu of donations or flowers, that donations be made in his name to: Arizona Elks Association Major Projects Inc., Children's Research Hospital, C/0 BPO Elks #330, 6245 E.
