FOSTER, Alice Rosetta

Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, AZ Wednesday, November 16, 2011 Alice Rosetta Foster, 96, of Flagstaff passed away November 14, 2011. She was born March 1, 1915 to Samuel and Mary Terry in Muleshoe, Texas. When she was 16 she moved to Knoxville, IL. On April 20, 1935 she married Lyle Foster and together they moved to Arizona in 1958. Mrs. Foster loved to cook and play pinochle. She was very family oriented and just loved being with her family. Her life was her family. Ms. Foster is survived by her daughter Donna Kennedy of Flagstaff, her daughter-in-law Eileen Foster of Veer, AR, her grandchildren : Terry Foster Jr. of Florida, Linda Champion of Arkansas, Terresa Callan of Flagstaff, Stephen Foster of Texas, Donald Phelps of Flagstaff, Randy Phelps of Illinois, Lynn Foster of Illinois and Sam Hansford of Hawaii; by two sisters, Violet and Marie , her brother Bill, sixteen great-grandchildren and eleven great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, two brothers, a son, two daughters, one grandson and one granddaughter. Funeral services will take place Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 6:00 pm at Norvel Owens Mortuary Chapel, 914 E. Route 66, Flagstaff, Arizona.
