HUDEK, Pauline Ann (Paula)

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, December 16, 2006 Pauline (Paula) Ann Hudek, 75, passed away at her Prescott residence on Friday, Dec. 15, 2006. She had made Arizona her home since 1990. Paula was born in Tyndall, South Dakota, June 22, 1931, to Cyril and Anna (Vanek) Hudek, who had emigrated from Bohemia, now a part of the Czech Republic. Paula had five siblings: her brother, Jerry Hudek of Platte, S.D., survives her, as does her sister, Mary Lou Hudek, of Tyndall, S.D. Paula spent much of her adult life in Southern California, where she was employed for 20 years as a commercial and graphic artist for Aerospace Corp. She was also accomplished in the fine arts. Paula was a devout Roman Catholic, very involved in pro-life work, and a proud patriot. In lieu of flowers, donations to Priests for Life would be greatly appreciated. The "Tridentine" Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Father Kenneth Fryor, FSSP, with a Gregorian Chant "Schola" directed by Eric Ramos, at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2006, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mayer, Arizona. The Rosary will precede the Mass at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at the Heritage Memorial Cemetery in Dewey, Arizona. Heritage Memory Chapel assisted in the funeral arrangements.
