WOOD, Mathel Lee

Mathel Lee Wood (nee Miller) 73, of Apache Junction passed away at home on January 19, 2004. She was born May 17, 1930 in Mishawaka, Indiana to the late Furman A. and Mildred M. Miller. The family came to Arizona in 1947. She graduated from Tempe Union High School and retired from Banner Desert Medical Center as a medical transcriber. She is survived by her husband John H., daughter Janice, son Paul, sister Dorothy Sidwell (Jerry), brother F.A. Miller (June), numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. A private memorial was held at a later date. Published in the Arizona Republic on 1/25/2004.
