The Charlotte Observer, Charlotte, North Carolina Friday, August 30, 1991 Mr. Charles F. Padgett, 64, of Prescott Valley, Ariz., formerly of Charlotte, died Aug. 28, 1991, at VA Medical Center in Prescott, Ariz. Memorial service is 3 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church, Prescott, where he was a member. Burial will be today in National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, Phoenix. Memory Chapel Funeral Home of Prescott is in charge. Mr. Padgett, a Charlotte native, manufactured doors and windows in Prescott Valley for area construction firms. At his church he was a member of the camping program. Survivors are his wife, Helen; sons, Richard Padgett of Prescott Valley, James Padgett of Lancaster, Calif., Charles Padgett; daughter, Mrs. Carol Richardson of Buenos Aires; brothers, Chester Padgett of Mount Holly, Robert Padgett of St. Matthews, S.C., Rae Padgett; three grandchildren. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Marina and Goodwin streets, Prescott, Ariz., 86301.
