Silver Creek Mortuary, Taylor, Arizona Ethel Thompson (July 9, 1935 - November 12, 2011) Ethel Thompson was born July 9, 1935 in Cedar Creek, Arizona. She went home to be with the Lord on November 12, 2011 in Lakeside, Arizona. Ethel was a homemaker, she loved sewing and doing beadwork. She raised her grandchildren and nieces as her own children. She will be dearly missed and there will be a special place in our hearts that no one else can ever fill. Ethel is survived by her Sons: Newton (Johanna) Thompson Jr., Elton (Leenette) Thompson Sr., Tino (Tana) Thompson; Daughters: Noleen (Ferlin) Hoskie Sr., Colleen Jackson, 16 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren; Brother: West Armstrong Sr.; Sister: Judy M. Declay; many relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband: Newton Thompson Sr.; Father: Basil Malone; Mother: Jenny Zahgotah; Sister: Clara Thompson; Niece: Priscilla Altaha; Grandson: Milford Thompson. Ethel’s body will be brought back to Lower Canyon Day West 5th St. in Canyon Day, AZ for a two night wake on Friday, November 18, 2011 at 10:00 AM. Funeral Service will be on Sunday, November 19, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the Canyon Day Miracle Church in Canyon Day, AZ with Pastor Reno Johnson officiating. Interment will be at the Canyon Day Cemetery in Canyon Day, AZ.
