West Valley View, Avondale, AZ June 11, 2010 Pearl Annette (nee Sullinger) Black, 72, of Glendale and formerly of Avondale died June 7, 2010. She was born Nov. 26, 1937, in Senath, Mo., and her family moved to Arizona in 1939. She worked for the Department of Interior. She was a member of Salvation Army Church. She is survived by one daughter, Sherry Stipsky of Alameda, Calif.; one sister, Shirley Short of Youngtown; and three brothers, Daniel Sullinger of Sun City, Doyle Sullinger of Sun City and Lawrence Sullinger of Glendale. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Salvation of Army Church, 11 N. Third Ave. in Avondale. The Rev. D.C. Seville will officiate. Memorials may be made to Salvation Army, 11 N. Third Ave., Avondale, AZ 85323.
