West Valley View, Avondale, AZ June 15, 2010 Shirley Janeaux, 68, of Avondale died of cancer June 9, 2010, at Hospice of the Valley in Goodyear. She was born Dec. 28, 1941, in Pineville, La. She moved to Arizona this year. Ms. Janeaux was a retired home health aide. She also owned a daycare for many years and taught Sunday school. She was a member of Truth Church in Chico, Calif., for many years before moving to Avondale. She is survived by one daughter, Deborah Davies; three sons, Monty, Dale and Paul; two sisters, Etta Faye Thomas and Nellie Hudson; eight grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. Services are at 10 a.m. today at Valley Pentecostal Church, 6602 N. 51st Ave., Glendale. The Rev. Nathan Morton and the Rev. Ron Garrett will officiate.
