KINYON, Florence

The Kansas City Star, Kansas City, Missouri Friday, August 23, 1991 Florence Kinyon, 95, Prescott, Ariz., formerly of Kansas City, died Aug. 19, 1991, in a Prescott nursing home. She was born in Henry County, Mo., and lived in Kansas City, Warrensburg and Joplin in Missouri before moving to Arizona in 1974. Mrs. Kinyon and her late husband formerly owned the Kinyon Cash Grocery, Warrensburg. She was a former member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Kansas City. Her husband, Ora A. Kinyon, died in 1969. Survivors include a daughter, Evelyn Kretzmann, Kirkland, Ariz.; a brother, Loyd K. Parks, Warsaw, Mo.; a granddaughter; and a great-granddaughter. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Newcomer's Longview Chapel; burial in Longview Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to the Prescott Samaritan Village, 1030 Scott Drive, Prescott, Ariz., 86301.
