HUEY, William (Bill)

The Prescott Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, October 18, 2006 William "Bill" Huey, age 75, passed away Oct. 15, 2006, in Prescott, Ariz. He was born July 24, 1931, in Prescott to William and Blanche Huey. Bill worked for Southern Pacific Railroad as a Telegrapher for 35 years and later became a microwave technician. He enjoyed electronics, photography, gardening and his pets. He attended Walk to Emmanus and Marriage Encounter. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Barbara Huey; son Mark Huey (Janice) of Phoenix; daughter Kelly Butler (Patrick) of Texas; stepson Mike Howell of California; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Germaine (McCain) Huey and his son Randy Huey. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19, 2006, at The Chino Valley United Methodist Church. At the family's request, contributions can be made to The Chino Valley United Methodist Church or The Muscular Dystrophy Research Foundation. Chino Valley Funeral Home is caring for the family.
