OCHOA, Ramon B.

Ramon B. Ochoa, P.E., 66, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2004, in Hermosillo, Sonora, México after a battle with cancer. He was born in México on August 31, 1937. He obtained his Bachelors Degree from the University of Arizona. He worked for the City of Phoenix for 17 years as a Civil Engineer, and retired in 1999. He started his own business, Ochoa & Associates and worked as an Engineering Consultant until his death. He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, as well as his mother and all of his siblings. The funeral services in which family and friends took part, were held in Agua Prieta, Sonora, México on Thursday, January 22, 2004 after the cremation, as he had requested. A memorial mass was held in Phoenix, AZ on Wednesday, January 28, 2004 at St. Catherine Church, 6200 S. Central Avenue. The family thanks Hospice Of the Valley and Maryvale Hospital for their care and support, as well as friends and family who have supported them from Phoenix, Tucson, and México.
