Roy R. Badger, CMS Retired USAF, died June 4, 2007, in Prescott Valley, Ariz. He was born Oct. 31, 1931, in Tampa, Florida to Bryan Blaine and Willa Mae (Folsom) Badger.
Roy proudly served his country in the USAF for 30 years. Roy also worked with the Boy Scouts of America for many years. Roy is a member of Aztlan Masonic Lodge #1 in Prescott, the Scottish Rite and the Order of the Eastern Star where he was elected and served as the Worthy Grand Patron in 1999.
Roy is survived by his wife of 56 years, Gladys (Sammy); his children, Brian (Linda), Dr. Terry Badger, Laurie, and Dean (Debra); and his grandchildren, David and Danielle; brothers, William (Jane) and Elmer (Lois); and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service in honor of Roy will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 8, 2007, at the Prescott Valley United Methodist Church, 8944 E. Sommer Drive. Included in this service will be a Masonic ceremony and an Eastern Star ceremony.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Roy to the Arizona Cancer Center in Tucson, Arizona.
