GEISLER, Bernice Catherine

Bernice C. Geisler, age 80, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 23rd, 2004. She was born Bernice Catherine Treger in Winnipeg, Canada on March 11, 1923. She attended St. Alphonsus School and was very active in church functions. Mrs. Geisler moved to Arizona in 1955 where she resided in Phoenix for 25 years before retiring to Ahwatukee in 1973. She donated her time to the Phoenix Women's Medical Auxiliary and Meals on Wheels and traveled extensively throughout the world. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Dr. Gordon Geisler, her daughter Judie Zalopany and sons Duncan (Jayne) and Bradley (Peggy) and six grandchildren, Carrie, Shana, Heather, Greg, Rick and Jim and great-grandson Anuhea. A funeral mass was held on Saturday, January 31st at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 3550 E. Knox Rd., in Ahwatukee. Published in the Arizona Republic from 1/29/2004 - 1/30/2004.
