GIROUARD, Nicholas D.

Nicholas D. Girouard, 29, loving husband and daddy, passed away 19 Jan 2004. He was born 27 May 1974 in San Jose, CA. He was married to Carol A. McKinley with a daughter Lauren Nicole, 8. He attended schooling in AZ, NE, KS, VA, England and Germany before entering military service in 1993. A US Navy veteran, he served aboard the USS Cowpens (CG-63) unitl his honorable discharge on 25 Dec 1998. He was a certified heavy equipment operator/mechanic working for Naumann Hobbs. He is survived by his loving wife Carol and their daughter Lauren, dad Ted Girouard, mother Cathy Girouard, sisters Autumn Girouard and Stefanie Girouard, brother Ted Girouard, and grandparents Virginia Girouard, Tony Leonti and Sara Morabito, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Theodor J. Girouard, Jr. Visitation was Thursday, 29 January 2004, Bunker's Garden Chapel, 33 N. Centennial Way, Mesa, AZ. Graveside Services were 30 January, National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix, AZ. Published in the Arizona Republic on 1/29/2004.
