Renona Lee Harmon-Weatherby, 33, a resident of Phoenix her entire life entered into rest January 21, 2004.
She is survived by her four year old son, Brendan D. Weatherby. Mother: Linda Hess of Phoenix. Siblings: Jennifer Lee Borg of Boise, Idaho, Dorothy Lee Hill of Rochester, Indiana, Bernard Wayne Harmon of Angier, N.C. and Bernadette Lee Roush of Phoenix. Brothers in law: Jerry Roush and Jon Hill. Aunt and Uncles: Leng Shigeta, Clarence Shigeta, Mildred Ervin, Jimmy Tejero and Franklin Tejero all of California as well as numerous cousins and 12 nieces and nephews.
Renona worked with the Kid's Cancer Connection, Oded Fehr of "The Mummy", Burbank Studios, Ronald McDonald House as well as being a volunteer for Homeless Pet Shelters. She was an avid horse back rider, loved volleyball, baseball and swimming. Renona was a loyal friend and never knew a stranger.
Memorial Services were held at Phoenix Memorial Park, 200 West Beardsley Road on Saturday, January 31, 2004 with Pastor Ralph Buzbee Officiating. A private cremation has taken place and Inurnment at Phoenix Memorial Park will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Brendan D. Weatherby at any Bank One branch.
