HORNUNG, Clifford A.

Clifford A. Hornung, 73, of Oro Valley, died quietly at home on January 25, 2004. A Navy veteran, Mr. Hornung was active in The Navy League, The Sea Cadet program, and a member of The American Legion Post 36. He was employed by Valley National Bank, now Bank One, for more than 23 years, retiring as a property manager. Mr. Hornung began his career as a cabinetmaker in his native, Des Plaines, IL. He is survived by Juelle, his wife of 45 years, son Paul (Colleen) of Woodinville, WA, daughter Eileen Dalton (Don) of Tucson, and four grandchildren. A Memorial Service was held on Saturday, February 7th at Ascension Lutheran Church, 1220 W. Magee Rd. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Casa de la Luz Hospice or the church. Arrangements by Adair Funeral Home, Avalon Chapel.
