The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, November 23, 2006 Vance Elmer Prutsman, 84, of Mayer, born Nov. 9, 1922 in Spearman, Texas, died Tuesdy, Nov. 21, 2006, in Mayer. Vance was a WW II US Army Veteran. Visitation will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, at Sunrise Funeral Home Chapel 8167 E. Highway 69, prescott Valley. Commemoration services in honor of Vance will follow at noon in the same location. Interment will take place at the V. A. Cemetery in Phoenix. Vance was born November 9, 1922 in Spearman, Texas, the son of William E. and Maggie (Wright) Prutsman. Vance worked for Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He retired from working there after 30 years. Vance is survived by his wife, Molly Prutsman, Mayer,; Ariz. daughter, Susan Butterworth of Delta, British Columbia, Canada; step-children, Carrol Ernst of Phoenix, Arizona, and Thomas Highman of Cheyenne, Wyoming; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Vance was predeceased in death by a son, Gary Prutsman. Commemoration services in honor of Vance will be Saturday, November 25, 2006, at noon, at the Sunrise Funeral Home Chapel, 8167 E. Hwy. 69, Prescott Valley, Ariz., with Rev. Thomas A. Ernst officiating . Burial will be held at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix. Arrangements entrusted to Sunrise Funeral Home.
